the wind and rain made this quite awful, and I stencilled over a layer, but otherwise I like this. This is in response not only to my previous two stencil's but also to the first stencil I did; which was also a punk girl.

This weeks stencil was in response to... Mr Dave Grohl! The Lord McNaude informed me what a Foo Fighter was and with further research on good ol wikipedia I discovered that is was a UFO. I thought it would be humourous if Davey boy was sucked up by the name of his own band...

Ok so this week i responded to Nick's stencil from Week 5 - Dave Grohl - quite obvious connection with him being lead drummer in a couple of bands and all. It was much better than I thought though considering its a 6 colour stencil this week but still didn't turn out as accurate as I would've liked - stupid wind! Anyway had fun doing the stencils overall, it was pretty good..

Stencil 6 - Nick

This week my stencil was a bit of an homage to the course as a whole with someone in a bomb suit approaching a spray can. I was pretty pissed off that Yoda foot struck again with my green layer but apart from that, it was more or less successful. Definitely not my best stencil to date. I was hoping to get a bit of play with the perspective by making the can bigger but think I would need something else to place the two items in space.

Layers were: Figure - green, black, grey, white

Can - grey, black, chrome

this superman stencil which I made responding to the green ET creature. They are fighting for the justice and evil. I combined six layers to my stencil-Pink,black,blue,purple,white and red color .

Week 6

This is my 6 layer stencil and surprisingly, it's probably my most successful out of all of them (I thought it was going to be really difficult due to the many layers). I responded to the Volkswagen van done in week 5. It's pretty obvious why; I was sticking with the transport theme. Also, cars and other vehicles seem to work quite well visually because of all the angles and bold shapes in them. I think my colour choice worked well for this one. the grey, white and silver build up, making it look pretty slick. I'm happy with this one.

I did the Elephant in Response to last weeks giraffe, Animals seem to be a reoccurring theme on the board so it all kind of meshes together. :)

EMILY WEEK 6

This is my 6 layer stencil, which is a vespa scooter (another form of transport!)
I think it looks good, i would have liked to do the orange layer in 'mid grey' but the spray can wasn't working :( the orange still looks ok though, it kind of looks like a toy.
